Nuevo Día Behavioral Health Care, LLC provides psychiatric services across New Mexico and serves all populations to include adolescents to adults. Nuevo Día Behavioral Health Care LLC serves populations with mental health and substance abuse needs. We strive to be New Mexico's choice for psychiatric and mental health care by providing culturally competent, holistic services that promote healthy mental health. We aim to provide individualized care to every client by acknowledging their unique situations, educating clients and their support system and providing unconditionally compassionate high quality care.

Stigma is one of the reasons most do not reach out for mental health. We at Nuevo Dia truly believe that mental health is HEALTH, just as cardiac health is HEALTH, just as thyroid health is HEALTH, just as gastric health is HEALTH. Health is health and we are here to provide the best mental health for you. We are here to meet you where you are at and to take the mental health journey at your pace. Dr. Fernando J. Guillen

DNP, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Fernando J. Guillen, DNP is a doctoral prepared psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with extensive hands on experience in every area of mental health to include inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization, assertive community, corrections, education, children, adults, and geriatrics. Dr. Guillen received his Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Saint Augustine in St. Augustine, FL. Prior to receiving his doctorate degree, Dr. Guillen received his Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in psychiatric mental health from Walden University. Dr. Guillen's undergraduate education was completed at New Mexico State University.

Dr. Fernando J. Guillen, DNP can help with anxiety, depression, mood instability, psychosis, substance abuse. Dr. Guillen, DNP will meet you wherever you are on the road to mental or substance abuse recovery. Every patient is given the time they need and every treatment plan is tailored to the individual need. We will meet as frequently as needed and adjust; the more we flex the more we conquer.
